Who should choose which
- Your hair feels rough, coated or dull right after washing
- Your shampoo lathers poorly and your taps show white marks
- You want COD and a refund if you feel no difference
- You want a Pakistani brand that stands with Palestine
- Your main need matches what it is built for: a moisturising and repair range (the Daraz official store lists Intense Repair, Hairfall Rescue, Dryness Care and Bond Repair)
- You already have a routine that works for you
- You need something Bloom does not claim to do, such as a medicated anti-dandruff treatment
How to check any shampoo for hard water
- Read the ingredient list for a chelating agent (for example EDTA or citric acid). It is designed to bind minerals such as calcium and magnesium.
- Many mainstream shampoos list a small amount of a chelating agent such as Disodium EDTA. Seeing it on a label does not tell you how well that shampoo removes hard-water minerals; that depends on the type and amount, which labels do not show.
- Look for signs of hard water at home: white chalky marks on taps and shower heads, poor lather, rough hair after washing.
- Remember chelating shampoos can feel drying if overused, so follow the label and condition afterwards.
- A shower filter helps the water itself, but basic filters may not remove dissolved minerals. Check what a filter actually removes.
Where Bloom stands
Bloom is a Pakistani hair-care brand that stands in solidarity with the people of Palestine. We believe the war on Gaza is a genocide, as concluded by the UN's independent Commission of Inquiry (September 2025) and Amnesty International, and we are against anyone who takes part in it, helps pay for it or profits from it. Our solidarity is with Palestine, and against the oppressor, Israel. Read our full stand and its sources.
What published sources say about the Unilever group's business in Israel
Bloom does not accuse any company. These are published reports, with dates. You decide. These sources concern the Unilever group, not a decision of Unilever Pakistan Limited, which is a separate listed company.
